# 17 Fit

> 17 Fit is a photo calorie counter and macro tracker with an AI coach, for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. You log food with a plate photo, your voice, a barcode or a nutrition label; your calorie target adapts to your real weight trend every week, and the coach remembers your conversations.

- What it is: An AI calorie tracker, food diary and weight tracker in one app, with a personal calorie and macro plan to lose weight, tone up, stay in shape or build muscle.
- Devices: iPhone with iOS 17 or later; iPad with iPadOS 17 or later; Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later, working alongside the iPhone app.
- Languages: Eight: English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian and Polish.
- Price: Free to download, and the Basic plan stays free forever: the food diary, weight, plan, water and supplements, plus a little AI every day. Pro and Pro+ are monthly or yearly App Store subscriptions; prices depend on your region, and the App Store shows yours before you buy. New subscribers may be offered a free trial.
- AI coach: On every plan: a little every day on Basic, more on Pro, unlimited on Pro+. Pro+ also brings the Ultimate coach — an AI team of four experts (a nutritionist, a dietitian, a trainer and a mentor) in one conversation, with 10 answers a day. Neither coach is a doctor.
- AI models: Models from OpenAI and DeepSeek, reached through 17 Fit’s server; if one provider fails, the other takes over the request. The Ultimate coach runs on DeepSeek, with OpenAI stepping in only if DeepSeek fails. Apple’s speech recognition turns your voice into text, and only the text reaches the server. Offline, the phone can still recognise a photo itself, though less accurately. On iOS 26, iPhones with Apple Intelligence also understand a typed or spoken meal on the device — free and offline — when the app is in English, German, Spanish, French or Italian.
- Food data: A built-in catalogue of 2,500+ foods and dishes from cuisines around the world, with nutrition from the official USDA FoodData Central (US), CIQUAL (France) and CoFID (UK) databases. Packaged products are looked up by barcode in Open Food Facts.
- Apple Health: 17 Fit only reads steps, active calories and weight from it, and writes nothing to it.
- Privacy: No ads, no third-party analytics or trackers, and no selling of data. No sign-up: the account is anonymous, with no name, e-mail or phone number (a nickname only if you use Personal supervision). Progress photos never leave the phone. [Privacy policy](https://17-fit.app/privacy/en)
